Skin
and then hydrates the skin with antioxidant and vitamin-rich serums for a healthy radiance. Different clinics may have slightly different methods, but it basically involves similar steps: cleanse and peel, extract and hydrate, then fuse and protect.
Step 1: Cleanse and Exfoliate
After removing makeup, oil, and surface impurities, your HydraFacial is followed by gentle exfoliation with a hydradermabrasion tip. This spiral, vacuum-powered tip removes dead skin cells while at the same time feeding the skin with a nourishing solution so that the freshly peeled layer underneath is perfectly primed for the peel.
Step 2: Mild Chemical Peel
The therapist then takes the same device to apply a low-strength chemical peel, most often a combination of glycolic and salicylic acids. Unlike aggressive peels, this step is painless and the main goal is to loosen the deepest dirt in the pores, give a nice glow to the dull skin, and even out the skin without any downtime or visible peeling.
Step 3: Painless Extractions
The skin is softened the device then employs controlled vortex suction to remove blackheads, sebum plugs, and congestion in the pores. Since the instrument moves over the skin rather than the skin being manually squeezed, extracting is fast, gentle, and the chances of redness or trauma are much lower compared to traditional facials.
Step 4: Hydrate, Fuse and Protect
Finally, concentrated serums containing hyaluronic acid, peptides, and antioxidants are delivered into the skin that has been recently cleaned. The “fuse and protect” step not only moisturizes the skin thoroughly, but also strengthens the skin barrier and makes it resistant to environmental aggressors, hence the skin goes back to being smooth, radiant, and lighter in color right after the treatment.
Optional Add-Ons
The main four steps in the treatment are supplemented by many clinics with such services like lymphatic drainage, LED light therapy, or specially formulated booster serums for acne, pigmentation, or anti-ageing. These personalized addons do not alter the core HydraFaccial steps but provide the benefit of targeting specific issues such as breakouts, fine lines, or uneven tone to name a few.
