Be aware that the treated area will have crusts for upto two weeks or more depending on the area of treatment. It is recommended to use plain petroleum jelly and keep the area covered to ensure safe healing. Do not pick the crust as it may lead to scarring.
Potential side effects of Q-switch Laser treatment include burning sensation on the treated area for several minutes or few hours after treatment. If it persists, please contact our doctor. Redness may occur during or after the Q-switch treatment. Fine hair may whiten giving a bleached effect. In severe and rare cases mottled hypo or hyperpigmentation, leukoderma, severe redness and hives may occur.
